It achieves the world’s smallest size and lightest weight, reaching 5.8 inches. Long with a maximum diameter of 77 mm, and weighing only 19 ounces. With particular emphasis on power resolution, Tamron has deployed special lens elements arranged appropriately to correct chromatic aberration, usually very strong in a telephoto lens, as well as other aberrations. Users can enjoy high-resolution images combined with the impressive bokeh qualities that can only be achieved with a telephoto lens. The lens also incorporates the RXD (Rapid eXtra-Silent Stepping Drive) unit, a high-speed precision AF drive system that is remarkably quiet. The 70-300mm is a versatile lens for photographing landscapes, sports and other actions, pets and wildlife and more.
